planning your care road map together
Owl Video
Beginning in April 2022, your provider will begin using a measurement feedback system called Owl Insights, or “the Owl.” This is a tool that you and your care team can use to measure what type of progress you’re making and to make adjustments, if needed. All you need to access the Owl is a web browser and an internet connection. The way it works is that you will get an email from the Owl asking you to login and set up your password and security questions. Once that’s set up, you will receive another email telling you that you have measures to complete and a link to the Owl. The Owl will also send reminder emails a few days before your next appointment. Before your next appointment, you can log in to the Owl and complete your open measures. Then, when you meet next with your provider the two of you can review your measure results together. From that point forward, follow up measures will be sent to you, and you and your care team will continue to use these to see how you’re doing.
"Certainly, our prescribers can check levels for certain prescriptions, but how do we measure progress in areas like mental wellbeing? The answer is to take a snap shot using a reliable screening tool and follow it over time.
We hope the OWL affords both our patients and treatment providers a new way to visualize patient progress using evidenced based practice. "

Owl is a measurement-based care tool that will be used to support your healthcare. Your clinician will ask you to complete questionnaires regarding your mental and behavioral health concerns and symptoms on a regular basis. This information will help in providing you high value care that gets you feeling better faster.
Measurement-based care is an evidence-based practice that facilitates personalized care through the use of information gathered from questionnaires you complete over the course of treatment. It is akin to your primary care doctor monitoring your blood pressure at each visit to determine if treatment is needed and/or working.
You can complete the questionnaires online using your mobile phone, tablet, or computer. You will receive emails or text messages asking you to complete the questionnaires. All of the information gathered will only be available to you and your provider or treatment team*.
Your therapist/prescriber has created an account for you in a program called the OWL. Your treatment provider will send you measurements (questionnaires) which are for you to fill out and submit to your therapist/provider. The results are sent to your care team and allow us to establish a baseline and monitor trending of your scores across various behavioral health assessments.
You will be able to access the system on either a smart phone or your email.
*note-(check your junk mail)
You will receive an email or text message containing a link to create your account. Once you have done so, you will only need to login to answer your measurements. The measures will be assigned at a set frequency determined by your care team (weekly, monthly etc.)
There are two types of measures you will receive. The first helps us establish a baseline in the system. This is very similar to the questionnaires you filled out when becoming a patient of our practice. The second type are the reoccurring measures that help us track your progression over time. For example, it can be very helpful to determine how a patient's depression scores are changing after starting medication for depression. It's also a great tool for a therapist to be able to see the same trends over the course of treatment.
Please have your insurance card available for the first time you answer your measures. You will not be asked again to provide this information in subsequent measures.

"Anxiety is always a struggle because it can consume me so quickly. I will think I'm doing great, and it creeps up and snatches me away. From this group I am able to pull myself back faster."
"Just learning tools to practice is worth the group alone.- Learning to understand and figure out the reason why"
"My GAD score has gone down from a 15 to an 11 since beginning this group. I have many tools at my disposal, and I've been using them, AND they are working! THANK YOU!!"
